PHP Ballet Intensive Course
Train like a professional ballet dancer with the PHP Ballet Intensive!
Vacation is the perfect time to continue training and progress!
The intensive, one-week course gives students an opportunity to train intensively with the special program created by principal dancers Kateryna Shalkina and Oscar Chacon. PHP (Programme de Haute Performance)

Ballet intensive is designed for young pre-professional students from 7 to 15 years old who love dance and want to immerse themselves in the art of ballet. In one week, students will be trained as if they were professional dancers in the company.
They will be systematically taught:
Correct warm-up for ballet dancers (physical preparation)
Floor barre, Ballet Class, Work on Pointe, Classical Variation, Stretch and other disciplines depend on age.
To achieve technical strength, students will work to understand the value of dance as an art form, and not only on the body work, they will also learn the history of ballet, because the real artist is not only a moving body, it is also a human being and an intellectually developed person with knowledge of the arts.
Recognize and develop the artists within themselves in a nurturing and supportive environment. In order to prevent injuries and promote wellness, special attention is given to proper body placement and work habits. A special workshop about correct nutrition and anatomy for ballet students will complete their week to understand and apply new habits to a daily routine. All these classes focus on building a solid foundation in ballet technique, with an emphasis on proper placement and safe progressions of movement while remaining sensitive to the mental needs of younger dancers.
In one week with PHP Ballet Intensive, from 9:30 to 16:30, you will have:
30–45 m of a special program of warm-up training adapted for young dancers.
2h Ballet Class Training: Pointe work (depending on age).
1.5 hours of classical variation learning and individual coaching (every time we choose a new classical repertory variation adapted to their age and capacity, trying to stay closer to the original version).
1–1.5 hours of improvisational composition of a new original dance for this week group. 30 minutes of stretching at the end of the day.
The children will have a 1-hour break for dinner and snacks before the class and at the end of the day.
